UN Security Council extends Syria mission, expresses alarm over Sudan

Separately, the Council issued a statement expressing grave concern over the 'imminent risk of mass atrocities' in Sudan, specifically around El Obeid. They demanded an immediate halt to assaults by the Rapid Support Forces and called for accountability for abuses.
