U.S. Sanctions Networks Fueling Sudan Conflict

The U.S. Treasury Department has sanctioned eight individuals and entities for operating procurement and recruitment networks that exacerbate Sudan's civil war. These networks have enabled both the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces, intensifying the conflict and worsening the humanitarian crisis. Additionally, the U.S. announced further sanctions on Sudan under the Chemical and Biological Weapons Control Act.
