EU Launches European Flagship Fund for Ukraine's Reconstruction, Aiming for €7 Billion in Investments

The European Commission has launched the European Flagship Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, establishing the largest equity fund dedicated to the country's rebuilding efforts. Announced at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026, the fund has an initial capital of €220 million, including a €160 million contribution from the Commission, and is projected to leverage up to €7 billion in investments for critical infrastructure, productive industries, and other projects vital for Ukraine's economic recovery.
