IOM Facilitates Voluntary Return of 348 Migrants from Libya to Home Countries

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) facilitated the voluntary return of 348 migrants from Libya to their home countries last week, as reported on July 1, 2026. Supported by the European Union, two charter flights repatriated 173 migrants to Bangladesh and 175 to Ghana. This initiative is part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to provide durable solutions for stranded migrants in Libya.
