EU Abolishes Tax-Free Policy for Small E-commerce Imports, Imposing €3 Customs Duty

Effective July 1, the European Union has abolished its 'de minimis' policy, which previously allowed imported goods valued under €150 to be tax-free. Sellers or shippers are now required to pay a €3 customs duty per item, a measure aimed at correcting structural imbalances for EU enterprises and adapting to the growth of e-commerce.
