EU Commission to address 'significant delays' at borders due to new digital Entry/Exit System

The European Commission is intensifying efforts to assist member states experiencing issues with the new digital Entry/Exit System (EES), which has led to warnings from airports and airlines about potential delays of up to five hours during the peak summer travel season.
