European Parliament Approves Modernized Trade and Political Agreements with Mexico

The European Parliament has endorsed a modernized global agreement and an interim trade agreement with Mexico, aiming to strengthen political ties and expand trade. These agreements, replacing a framework from 2000, are expected to boost EU exports by up to 75% and protect 568 EU geographical indications for agri-food products in Mexico, fostering new business opportunities and sustainable development.
