International Aid Increases for Venezuela After June Earthquakes

The humanitarian response to the severe earthquakes that struck north-central Venezuela in June 2026 is being scaled up. The UN OCHA has released an addendum to its Humanitarian Response Plan, seeking an additional $298 million to assist 1.3 million people, bringing the total funding requirement to $930 million.
