The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that continued drone attacks are intensifying the humanitarian crisis in Sudan's Kordofan region. Recent strikes have caused civilian casualties, disrupted essential water supplies, and reduced water availability in El Obeid to 20% of its needs. A worsening cholera outbreak is spreading across the region, with humanitarian partners reporting suspected cases. OCHA has allocated over $4 million to support food security, nutrition, healthcare, and water and sanitation services.
