UN warns looted gold and gum arabic are bankrolling Sudan's war, impacting global supply chains

Gum arabic, a commodity used in soft drinks, food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, continues to fuel the war, with trading routes being redrawn to benefit the belligerents.
