European Union Reiterates Russia's Responsibility for MH17 Downing on 12th Anniversary
On the 12th anniversary of the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, the European Union reiterated its full support for efforts to establish truth, justice, and accountability. The EU welcomed the judgments by the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council, which concluded that the Russian Federation is responsible for the downing of Flight MH17 and the deaths of 298 people on board.
