NATO Endorses New Multi-Year Funding Plan and Major Fuel Infrastructure Program

The North Atlantic Council has approved its Common Funding Resource Plan for 2027-2031, allocating up to €6.5 billion for shared priorities across member states. Additionally, a substantial €27 billion program was formally greenlit to modernize and expand NATO's fuel storage and distribution infrastructure. These strategic investments are particularly focused on the Alliance's eastern and south-eastern regions, aiming to enhance long-term operational capabilities and readiness in response to evolving security challenges.
