NATO member Romania shoots down stray drones from Ukraine war after years of incursions

Romania, a NATO and EU member, has shot down three suspected Russian drones in as many days that violated its airspace, intensifying its response to the war in Ukraine spilling over its borders. Romanian pilots used F-16 fighter jets to down the drones, and Romania has summoned Moscow's ambassador in protest and expelled a Russian diplomat.
