Flash Floods Cause Widespread Humanitarian Crisis in Afghanistan

Flash floods between July 20-25 have caused extensive humanitarian damage across Afghanistan, impacting homes, public facilities, and livelihoods. The eastern region, especially Nuristan's capital Parun, suffered the most, with at least 23 fatalities, five missing, and 125 injured. Hundreds of families in Kabul and surrounding provinces are also affected, underscoring an urgent need for humanitarian aid.
