Drone Attacks Spark Blaze at Libya's Zawiya Oil Refinery, Threatening Operations

Libyan firefighters are battling a blaze at the Zawiya refinery complex following a series of drone attacks. The state oil firm NOC has warned it may declare force majeure if attacks on oil assets in the city continue. While the fire has not yet damaged the refinery, a tank containing 4.5 million liters of gasoline caught fire and collapsed after an attack. The Zawiya complex, which primarily supplies the domestic market, has been targeted multiple times, including a desalination plant.
