EU Pledges €2.1 Million in Emergency Aid to Colombia Following Devastating Earthquake

The European Commission is providing €2.1 million in emergency humanitarian assistance to Colombia after a devastating 7.4 magnitude earthquake caused hundreds of casualties and extensive damage in the central and western parts of the country. The funding will support EU humanitarian partners on the ground to deliver vital aid, including health, water, sanitation, hygiene materials, shelter, food, protection, and cash assistance.
