European Union Increases Humanitarian Aid for Myanmar by €10.5 Million Amid Deepening Conflict

The European Union is providing an additional €10.5 million in humanitarian aid to Myanmar, bringing its total support for 2026 to €49.1 million. This comes as the conflict in the country has resulted in over 100,000 deaths since the February 2021 military coup, with 16.2 million people now in need of assistance.
