UN Security Council Expresses Concern Over Israeli West Bank Settlement Expansion

The UN Security Council has been informed that the West Bank is undergoing rapid transformation due to violence, displacement, and significant settlement expansion, leading to concerns of de facto annexation. This year, 76 Palestinians, including 18 children, have been killed, and over 1,430 settler-related incidents were documented. Israel also approved $431 million for 34 new settlements, further entrenching its civilian governance.
