NATO Plans Thousands of AI Drones Along Russia and Belarus Borders to Strengthen Eastern Flank

NATO is developing a sophisticated network of thousands of drones, sensors, and satellites, integrated with artificial intelligence, to bolster its eastern flank along the borders with Russia and Belarus. This initiative, part of the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative (EFDI), aims to monitor threats, detect airspace and border violations, and serve as a primary line of defense. The project is intended to allow the alliance to adapt rapidly to battlefield changes.
