UN Official Highlights Increasing Civilian Casualties in Yemen Conflict

UN Human Rights Chief Volker Türk has issued a warning regarding the escalating civilian death toll in Yemen amidst intensified conflict. Houthi rebels are continuing attacks on Saudi Arabia and Red Sea shipping, which is linked to the broader Iran–US confrontation. Concurrently, Yemeni Government forces have conducted nearly 200 strikes on Houthi positions, further threatening the country's fragile truce and global trade.
