EU Urges Israel to Halt West Bank Settlement Plan, Citing Harm to Two-State Solution

The European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, has called on Israel to withdraw its tender for the E1 settlement project in the occupied West Bank. The EU stated that the plan to construct over 1,200 housing units would "severely undermine the prospects for a two-state solution" by cutting off the north of the West Bank from the south.
