UN Relief Chief Decries "Lack of Action" Amid Worsening Sudan Humanitarian Crisis

The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Fletcher, informed the Security Council that over two-thirds of Sudan's population requires lifesaving assistance, with approximately 1,400 civilians killed in the first half of 2026, predominantly by drone strikes.
