Six months into the Iran war, almost half of the world's oil now comes from countries affected by conflict, marking the largest oil supply crisis on record. This includes disruptions from the US and Israeli attacks on Iran, the Russia-Ukraine war, and conflicts in Libya, significantly impacting global energy markets and contributing to higher inflation. An oil ship was also disabled by an attack in the Strait of Hormuz.
