EU Dispatches Urgent Aid to Serbia as Wildfires Intensify in Nature Reserve

The European Union has activated its civil protection mechanism to send urgent support to Serbia, where severe wildfires are raging across the Deliblato Sands Special Nature Reserve, impacting over 3,500 hectares. This assistance includes four helicopters from the rescEU fleet and ground firefighting teams from Germany and Romania.
