Deadly Flash Floods and Avalanche in Nepal Kill Dozens, Hundreds Missing

Massive flash floods, triggered by an avalanche, have devastated villages and infrastructure in Nepal, killing at least 22 people and leaving hundreds, including international tourists, missing. The Bhotekoshi River flooded around 9 a.m. local time on Wednesday, destroying several villages, roads, and hydropower projects. Nepal has requested rescue assistance from India and China.
