Indonesia and China Deepen Strategic and Defence Dialogues

Indonesia and China have held inaugural Comprehensive Strategic Dialogue (CSD) and the second Joint Foreign and Defense Ministerial Dialogue (2+2) meetings in Jakarta. These discussions mark a significant elevation of their bilateral partnership, moving beyond traditional economic ties to encompass advanced technology, maritime security, and global diplomacy. Key security agreements were reached, and both nations reaffirmed their commitment to aligning national development goals and acting as leading voices for peace and prosperity in the Global South.
