Icelanders Reject Reopening EU Membership Negotiations in Referendum

Voters in Iceland have rejected a government proposal to restart negotiations to join the European Union, with national broadcaster RUV reporting the outcome on Sunday. The decision comes more than a decade after the Nordic island nation halted its accession process.
