Devastating Floods and Mudslides in Nepal and China Kill Nearly 700, Thousands Missing

Cross-border flash floods and mudslides have caused widespread devastation in Nepal and China, with the combined death toll nearing 700 and thousands of people still missing. Nepal alone has reported over 600 fatalities. The United States has pledged more than $3.6 million in humanitarian aid for flood-hit Nepal, including emergency food assistance.
