Nepal Floods: Thousands Missing, Children Require Urgent Aid as EU Provides Humanitarian Assistance

Devastating flash floods in Nepal's Bhotekoshi-Trishuli river basin have left approximately 5,000 people missing and caused over 300 deaths, with 22,000 children urgently needing safe drinking water and sanitation. In response to this severe humanitarian crisis, the European Union has allocated €2 million in aid to support affected communities with immediate needs such as food, healthcare, and clean water.
