EU Dispatches Additional Aid to Nepal as Flood Survivors Face Severe Humanitarian Conditions

The European Union is providing further humanitarian assistance to Nepal, including an initial EU humanitarian air bridge flight delivering 82 tonnes of essential supplies and an additional €500,000 for response efforts. This aid comes as families in Nepal grapple with the aftermath of one of the country's deadliest floods in decades, with survivors facing severe humanitarian conditions. Luxembourg, Germany, Latvia, and Norway are also sending equipment through the EU civil protection mechanism.
