UN and EU Initiate Large-Scale Humanitarian Aid for Nepal Flood Victims

The United Nations and its partners have launched a US$49.6 million appeal to provide essential relief to over 84,000 people affected by severe flash floods in Nepal. Concurrently, the European Union has deployed an air bridge flight with 84 metric tonnes of supplies and committed an additional €500,000, underscoring international efforts to address the humanitarian crisis.
