Netherlands Transfers Gold Reserves from US to UK Citing Geopolitical Unrest

The Central Bank of the Netherlands, De Nederlandsche Bank, announced it transferred over a quarter of its gold reserves from the United States to the United Kingdom between March and August, citing "increasing geopolitical unrest." The Bank of England's bullion holdings are considered the "world's most tradable" and readily available during a global crisis.
