Deadly Nepal-Tibet Floods Leave Over 1,200 Dead, Thousands Missing; International Aid Efforts Underway

More than 1,200 people have been killed and some 5,600 are missing, including over 800 foreigners from at least 34 countries, following devastating floods in the Nepal-Tibet region. Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has expressed condolences and pledged continued support, supplies, and specialized capabilities to Nepal. The UN and its partners are seeking $49.6 million to assist 84,000 people affected by the flash floods.
