Dozens Killed as Fighting Intensifies in Yemen's Marib Province

Over 60 people, including civilians, have been killed in intensified fighting between Yemen's Saudi-backed government forces and Houthi rebels in the strategic Marib province. Military sources reported that 22 government forces and over 28 rebels died in the last 24 hours, with clashes continuing unabated. The renewed offensive by Houthi rebels to capture Marib city, a government stronghold and site of rich oil fields, threatens to worsen the already dire humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
