Eight Nations Condemn Israeli Ministers' Statements on Displacement of Palestinians from Gaza

The Foreign Ministers of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, and Egypt issued a joint statement on Sunday, September 6, strongly condemning recent statements by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz regarding the displacement of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip. The ministers reaffirmed their unequivocal rejection of any attempts or plans aimed at forcibly removing Palestinians from their land, emphasizing that such proposals flagrantly violate international law and threaten the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. They also stressed that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and reiterated support for a two-state solution.
