The Panama Canal may be forced to reduce daily shipping transits to as low as 27, down from an already curtailed 32, due to severely declining water levels. This "worst-case scenario" would further disrupt global trade, which is already facing challenges from the ongoing "Iran War," according to the canal's administrator.
