International conference planned to address repatriation of Ukrainian children and civilians

Canada, Ukraine, and Norway will co-host the "Pathways to Peace" conference in Toronto on September 28-29, 2026. The event aims to gather international support for the repatriation of Ukrainian children and civilians, and to ensure rehabilitation for returnees. This initiative addresses over 20,000 documented cases of alleged unlawful deportation of Ukrainian children by Russia, highlighting ongoing efforts to resolve a significant humanitarian issue.
