World Bank Group Mobilizes Record Private Capital for Developing Countries

The World Bank Group mobilized a record $112 billion in private capital for developing economies in fiscal year 2026, marking a more than threefold increase over the past four years. This achievement, which also included a record volume of guarantees, delivers on a long-standing goal to leverage private capital alongside its own financing and expertise to drive job creation and development in emerging economies.
