EU Sanctions Russia Over Unlawful Deportation of Ukrainian Children

The Council of the European Union has adopted new restrictive measures against 10 individuals and 17 entities for their involvement in the systematic unlawful deportation and forcible transfer of Ukrainian children to the Russian Federation and within temporarily occupied territories. These sanctions also target those responsible for forced assimilation, including indoctrination and militarized education of these children.
