China Vows "Resolute Response" if EU Imposes New Trade Restrictions

China's commerce ministry has warned of a "resolute response" to safeguard its industries if the European Union proceeds with reported plans to introduce restrictions against Chinese companies or products. The ministry described a proposed EU tool to tackle unfair trade as a "typical protectionist and unilateralist measure" that would disrupt the stability of China-EU trade relations.
