Sweden to Deploy Patriot Air Defense System to Poland to Protect NATO Logistics Hub

Sweden has announced it will deploy a Patriot air defense unit and approximately 100 military personnel to Poland starting in December. The deployment aims to protect a critical NATO logistics hub in Rzeszów, which serves as a key transit point for military and civilian aid to Ukraine. This move, following earlier deployments of Gripen fighters, underscores Sweden's commitment to NATO's eastern flank amidst ongoing regional security concerns and Russian attempts to influence support for Ukraine.
