UN Condemns Latest Attacks in Ukraine as Civilian Casualties Mount; EU Disburses €1.24 Billion for Defense Funding

The UN has condemned recent attacks in Ukraine, which have resulted in over 150 civilian casualties in the past 24 hours, with homes, a hospital, and other civilian infrastructure damaged. In response to ongoing Russian aggression and concerns over Black Sea shipping, the European Commission has disbursed €1.24 billion under the defense component of its Ukraine support loan, intended to finance drones, interceptors, ammunition, and missiles manufactured by Ukrainian entities.
