European Parliament Calls for Houthi Terrorist Designation Amidst Deepening Yemen Humanitarian Crisis

The European Parliament has urged the EU Council to designate Yemen's Houthi movement as a terrorist organization, condemning its missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia and military offensive in Yemen. This call comes as a severe humanitarian crisis deepens in Yemen, with renewed fighting and Houthi actions, including the tightening of control around Ta'iz city and blocking of vital roads, putting hundreds of thousands at risk of severe shortages of food, water, and medicine.
