Humanitarian Crises Persist in Gaza and Yemen Amidst Conflict and Displacement

The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem has warned that the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip remains unresolved, with violence and casualties continuing despite a ceasefire, and reconstruction yet to begin. Meanwhile, the humanitarian crisis in Yemen is deepening due to continued fighting and Houthi attacks on Saudi oil facilities, with the UN reporting over two million malnourished children and 800,000 unable to get aid. The European Commission has announced an additional €22.5 million in humanitarian aid for Yemen.
