Israelis Head to Polls in Pivotal General Election

Israelis are voting in a general election on October 27, 2026, to elect the 26th Knesset. This pivotal election is centered on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's leadership, the aftermath of the October 7 attacks, and a warrant issued by the International Criminal Court seeking his arrest for alleged war crimes. His main challenger is former army chief Gadi Eisenkot.
