Switzerland Pledges Additional Emergency Relief for Humanitarian Crises in Yemen and Ethiopia

Switzerland has committed an additional CHF 40 million in emergency funding to support populations affected by armed conflicts and climate-related challenges in Yemen and Ethiopia. The humanitarian situation in Yemen is particularly dire, with renewed fighting and Houthi advances displacing over 300,000 people and causing severe shortages of food and medicine, while Ethiopia faces ongoing conflict and climate impacts.
