JPL Collaborates with Loft Orbital to Integrate AI for Earth Science from Space
NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory is partnering with Loft Orbital to deploy and test AI software on Loft's space infrastructure. This initiative, part of the FAME project, aims to enhance on-orbit AI capabilities for Earth science remote sensing. The goal is to reduce data latency for critical applications such as monitoring wildfires and floods, with flight demonstrations starting in June 2026.
